Hi all, Club member for 15 years but new on "Club Together".

My problem is that I have mislaid my battery isolator and we are off on Friday, I hope to get one somewhere tomorrow, but Glasgow is not awash with Caravan parts stockists, in the event that I do not get one, is there a way round this apart from dismantling everything in the van..ie: is there another household device/tool that would adapt to turning the battery on to the mover...tia.

Thanks CS, I have already ordered 2 from ebay but I kinda need one before Friday, there is only one Caravan shop in Glasgow as far as I know and the item is not listed on their web page, I will phone them tomorrow tho, we only got the mover fitted last year and were only given one key...for a year now I kept saying I must buy a spare...lol... I can and often do misplace things, but I would have bet my Caravan that I could put my hand on the key...it is next to the mover control handset...ALWAYS....well apart from this time 🤔, the remote is there...but nooooo key 😯

Thanks CY...i am having no luck yet and have ran out of places to phone, are the keys for certain movers specific ?, I thought they were industry standard...but van dealer says no.

out of curiosity, have you checked the battery compartment as I have done this once, left the key in the switch and looked everywhere before having a look where I used it last and there it was laughing at me.

Glad  you're  all  good  to  go  now,  but  you  really  should  have  done  as  Whittakerr  says  &  bought  two  --  one  to  use  and  one  to  lose.

Oh,  yeah  you've  already  lost  one   ooops  surprised
