it is stating the obvious. Dogs foul on the grass weather they are tethered or fenced in
Not obvious to me having owned both an Alsation and a Labrador neither peed on pitch. They had no pee as they were excercised off site regularly although they would usually be off site much of the day. .

It is entirely avoidable. See my previous post.

Yes, I am sure you are right Tinwheeler. Oh for a perfect world! Maybe contamination could be avoided by dogs being tethered in the owners awning which is a ready made enclosure!!!! They can foul as much as they like then, on the owners ground sheet/mats and they can take the mess home with them. PS, I have had a few glasses of wine tonight which is making me brave to make comments on this forum about dogs.

I have seen for my self ,some dog owners letting their dog pee (and poo) on their own pitch often of a night because they are too lazy to ave a proper walk to either the gate or dog walk , or owners just walk slowly round the site waiting for their dog to perform. How do we stop these people from allowing their dogs to do ,I don't know ,but maybe better communication with the warden at reception may be a start

It's very odd how some folk can twist a thread to suit their own agenda! I assumed the OP was a conscientious owner looking for some advice on a way to keep her dogs nearby and reduce any possible annoyance to her neighbours on site.
Instead she seems to be being told that it is "obvious"/"unavoidable" that her dogs will foul the pitch and "contaminate" it for future users. Well it's not "obvious" and neither is it "unavoidable".
I've no doubt it happens and it's not acceptable, but why not think the best of someone looking for advice on here rather than assuming the worst? Unfortunately some folk seem to have a very low opinion of their fellow members.
