Hi Folks, going to purchase an awning shortly. I like the Dorema Daytona and see it comes as a standard pole version and an Air supported version. The Air version is £700 more expensive than the poles version.

Is it worth the money? In fact are any Air awnings worth the money?

Four days after the last post you chose to stir things up with your patronising comments. That was unnecessary, eh234, and could be seen as a deliberate attempt to cause friction.

eharris234 was merely reminding everyone of the supposed purpose of this forum.   I find your reaction absolutely uncalled for.    I assume after mature reflection,  you will be prepared to apologise to him.

I have been off this site for a bit and i came back to see how things were. still as stupid as it was before, how sad are people to come on here and argue with other idiots ??  I will stay away for good i think, somebody came on to seek a bit of advice from fellow campers and this is what they got in return

We’ve just got back to caravaning after a 7 year hiatus. Previously we had a full (poled) awning, the make of which escapes me (sands inaca?). This served us very well, but we no longer need a full awning so we now have a Kampa sunshine canopy, used it twice and very impressed.I’m not sure the difference in price is worth it for an air version awning over poled
