Hi,

Been looking for an automatic satellite dish, roof mounted (for ease). Selfsat Snipe V2 with twin LNB seems to show up as best value and quality for money. Has anyone any advice or suggestions with this or recommend another?. Im fairly new to caravanning and my van is pitched in the north east of scotland seasonally so wont matter about range outwith UK. All advice etc. appreciated.

Cheers,

Marc

We have a mecatronic 85cm fully automatic dish with auto skew, purchased and fitted from Roadpro, excellent piece of kit, well worth the expense.

We have the same except for the autoskew and fitted by Road Pro who are excellent but suspect in the OP's circumstances they are a bit far away.

I have been looking at automatic satellite systems for a while and enquired with an approved avtex supplier how much it would cost to fit a Snipe V2 system to my caravan.  The answer came as a bit of a surprise - I was told that they were not designed for caravans but more for "sheds" (yes, sheds) and similar buildings!  They recommend the Snipe dome as a more appropriate unit.  I was confused before - even more confused now!
