Yep, get a local firm to make them up from matching offcuts and binding the edge. You may have to discuss with them how you are going to ensure the carpet is not going to slide on the floor. An alternative is to buy non-slip office matting and cut to shape or try Dunelm for kitchen runners.

Not addressing the OP's question directly I know, but having a dog my approach is that as soon as the new van gets home the original carpets come out, are rolled up and wrapped for storage, and replaced with cheap disposable runner type mats. The current ones came from Tesco.

We have two dogs so we have a winter one that we don't mind getting muddy, just hoover it off and a summer one. We bought carpet remnants, cut to size using the old carpet as a template like others have said, I have managed to do this myself by cutting with a Stanley knife on the reverse then getting a carpet fitter to bind the edges last one cost £50 in total. Will look into the Flotex though as I hadn't thought of that, do you still have to bind the edges?
