hi there just a question to the club in general which is being asked by many RV owners. Is the club anti RV,s.because of the length restrictions on many sites now we cannot use them, but before the restrictions i have used some of those sites with an RV,which would suggest it is the clubs way of saying that they are not RV freindly.thanks and regards brian

American RV's offer excellent accommodation. We have seen many on French campsites.

On a Scottish CC site we stayed on a few years ago, eight American RV's booked in and stayed for a couple of nights. They were very self sufficient and were good neighbours.

Only drawback was when they were departing the site via the one-way site roads they were unable to avoid running over the grass where the roads bend and churned those areas into a muddy morass.  This caused the Site staff no end of problems restoring those ruined grassy areas.

It is surely within the skill of the CMC to assess each site and recommend pitches which can accommodate American RV's without any of the info-structure being inadvertently damaged.
