A well known caravan repairer in Lancashire reckoned (2 years ago) that Swift would be his first choice because he regarded their after sales service as the best. However, we are presently thinking about a Bailey Unicorn.

Customer service good or bad is normally down to the "point of sale" ie dealers, once they have your money,

An independant repairer we know says that Swift are a nightmare to deal with for parts(he thinks its because of the amount of parts they need to keep their dealers sweet),

One thing that is bad across all makes is dealers that if you do not buy from them ,do not expect them to rectify any warranty work,

remember that when looking for a "deal"

We are on our second damp free Bailey some friends are on their third (reason we bought our first)

Only faults they and we have had are from bought in equipment, mostly from over the channel

Repeat after me

There is no perfect van except Bailey,

There is no perfect van except Bailey etc etc

To be honest if someone put a gun to my head and said you have to choose between a Swift or a Bailey I think I would choose a Bailey, I think that the plastic interiors of Swift group are to my eyes horrid.   Alternative opinions do exist.
