New Lunar fixed end Bedroom van issues?

Hi all.

Just looking to see if anyone has purchased a newish either a lunar Clubman (S R) or lexon (590) with the mid Bathroom & end fixed double Bed. We fancy this layout & have seen a few good deals on 2018 models. I have noticed quite a few 2018 Van's second hand already on the market so I'm just wandering if there is an issue with this particular layout! These models have a storage unit that goes right across the van under the bed with access from both sides of the van. With this loaded and clothes in the wardrobes on the back wall for 2 weeks I'm wondering if this makes for an unstable van to tow when loaded with this layout.?

Any advice / feedback much appreciated..

The layout is near enough the same as produced by other makers so I doubt there is a problem with that make. The layout does however look one that can potentially be unbalanced by bad loading but again it applies to all makes.

We are on our second Lunar and both tow very well and the bed in the current one is easily the best we have had, and that includes the one at home.

Hi all.

Thanks for all you're feedback & insights regarding the Lunar models we where looking at the dealer in question.

We visited the show at Trafford park in Sunday.  Got a great part X deal on an Eldiss Supreme (dealer special) from Preston's. Hadn't even considered Eldiss but loved the layout. (And price)!

Thanks for all you're help.

Looks a nice van and you will probably be itching to get out and try it!

It doesn't matter how many brochures, reviews etc that you can look at seeing the vans in the flesh is what usually decides it. We have gone to shows at the NEC with vans in mind only to step inside and almost immediately turn around and go out!

The van we have now was not in our thoughts, so much so that we actually left without ordering as we wanted more time to think about it, but got the show price as we ordered within a week of the show.

We are fortunate that we do seem to have very similar tastes which reduces the amount of discussion/debate/falling out!!

Once again hope you have great enjoyment from it.

Have to agree with Allanandjean. We knew what we were looking for in terms of layout but were disappointed with the Sprite because the shower was far too small and we do use this. Compass had no raised edge on the lounge seat by the door, which would mean you could not lean back if facing the window. Bailey with no front locker lacked the space I feel I need to store my gear.

It is these small points that can make or break a sale and you really have to see for yourself if a caravan fits your needs.
