Match your car and caravan

Tried to used this facility to see if a Mitsubishi DX4 was a match for my caravan, but it only came up with the electric engine model. Not much use when I was looking for the diesel version. Has anyone else found out a similar problem?

I had same problem, just got a new BMW 5 series touring 520D 

No touring estates listed only saloons which was strange as estates are quite common. I ended up using the tow car website and it's all a great match.

Similar problem here. My car on the CC comparison was showing a kerbside weight as over 100kg lighter than in the vehicle handbooks. I used Towsure and found their data more reliable. I contacted the CC and was told as an external supplier runs their comparison the CC could do nothing. Could I suggest you contact the CC as if enough of us highlight the issues perhaps they can do something.

We put our car on a public  weighbridge and then worked bs k from there before looking at what van was suitable.

I find the CC matching site has plenty of gaps with various car models I have wanted to know about.  I found a site called towcarinfo which is much better.

SELL, the DX4 is one of the Outlander models. The only one listed is the PHEV. Sorry I should have said this in my OP.
