Essential maintenance

I'm sure you must've had your tongue firmly in your cheek as you asked that ..... 

Can anyone explain how some folk, only a few,  seem to have been able to post at odd intervals during the day? Because I've been getting the essential maintenance message all day long until just now!  

I think if you were still logged in M, you could still post. I did one this morning, prior to website deciding that 26 hours was my timeout limit! 

Well for me at least David it has been down all day. I have tried at various times to access the site and been directed to the Lego men on each occasion except now.

If you look at recent activity for the day it is very thin. It seems only a very few folk were able to log on. Perhaps device related.

Certainly I don't think it was planned. However, why they could not put a message on the main booking page, I don't know. Anyone hoping to use their weekend booking some holiday time, possibly looked elsewhere.

Been unable you login last hour ish essential maintenance message. Just tried again straight in. Who knows with this site????  Few posts all day. On latest activities, hours inbetween those posted apart from start of this thread and 1st reply

{ But  at  the  bottom  of  the  relevant  page  it  clearly  says  " Now  Please  Wash  Your  Hands " }

Pretty much the  same for me.  

Interesting what some of you are saying about not being able to log in. I seem to remain logged in all the time using Chrome (on a Windows PC) but I can't log out as that is when I get the essential maintenance if I try!!! We are used to things being "off line" from late evening to early morning but this seems to have gone on a longer time?
