Contacting Caravan Club seems impossible

I have tried three times today to contact by phone and on hold at least twenty minutes to no avail.

I just would like to know The cost of my caravan insurance this year.

on my profile there is no policy for this year and yet they expect you to renew by pressing the green button. The club could at least give you the information before asking you to consent to the policy.

Insurance renewal isn't done on the club site ( never seen it ) but like all insurance you should recieve a renewal notice by post with the price on and usually from the insurance company some 30 days before renewal date. When i was insured through the club it wasn't on my profile page.

There again I could be wrong. sealed

You may be a little wrong. I no longer have insurance with the CMC but, when I did it appeared on my profile and I seem to recall that it had a link to renew.

When we had our caravan insured by the club, (18 months ago)  we also recieved all the renewal documents by post about a month before. Once we renewed I believe they were available on my profile. Although we also recieved  a hard copy.

l then renewed by phoning. I've no idea if I could have done it online.

'My Profile' top of the page, not the Forum 'my profile', then look for 'My Cover'

Click on 'Renew' (if its due), it gives you the details but you can just back out if you want.

charlie25,   Why not be proactive and check out the cost of other providers whilst you are waiting for the CAMC quote.

Well, finally got through to the Caravan Club by telephone and only on hold twenty minutes. Spoke to a lady who was working from home answering phone calls and e mails. She was able to give me the cost of renewal for my caravan insurance and promised to e mail me a copy of the policy. I am still waiting for the e mail and a copy in the post, which apparently I should have received four weeks before renewal. I have compared various quotes from other companies and the Caravan Club is the most expensive. So I will wait and see the policy first before making my decision which company to insure with.

don't forget that the club 'covers' the risk themselves ..... it's insurance by another name.
