Surely the main difference between them is that the basis of Maslow’s theory is human needs and their satisfaction, whereas on the other hand, Herzberg’s theory relies on reward and recognition.

However this isn't going to get us that much needed 2022 calender.wink

Our LA gives every household in the borough a "Calendar" with all the different bin pickup days  for your area

Lucky you, ours will probably get round to sending out a notification sometime before Easter by which time it will have changed again.  Any wonder folk get them wrong laughing

Our LA sends me a text at precisely 4pm on the day before a bin collection is due and specifies which bin! Very handy. Ros still insists on marking her diary for every bin collection for the full year, though. Don't know why, other than if it isn't in her diary, it doesn't existundecided

That's  far to complicated and sensible for our LA , it would mean they woukd have to know laughinglaughing

The only calendars I use are on my desktop and it is synchoronised with those on my tablet and smart phone. Paper calanders are wasted on me although I do buy the annual one produced by the foot and mouth painting society. This is pinned up in the motorhome more as a decorative piece than a useful item.

Kirklees Council also send an email the afternoon before bin day, it’s even colour coded for those who have difficulty reading.

However two weeks before Christmas they stopped communicating just when you really needed to know!

Sadly we must say goodbye to the C&MHC as our membership terminates tomorrow after 39 years caravanning and 37 years of membership. We have had some fantastic times, been to lots of places you wouldn't normally dream of.  Our first van was a Knowsley Athenian bought for £200 (£195 + £5 because I used a credit card!) we went on to have 6 more caravans moving from gas lights and a foot pump to all mod cons. We used club sites almost exclusively, very few CL's and never rallied.  Our travels took us from Morvich to Tuscany only ever had two punctures, only one on the road. Introduced two of my son in laws to caravan life, one of which continues. The club, sites and facilities have changed immeasurably over the year, generally for the better, sadly having reached our early 80's, Covid was the straw that broke the camels back and decided the time had come. One of the best thing to happen was the club taking over Strathclyde Park from the local authority, it became our most regular site as my wife was from Motherwell, which just goes to prove that caravanners are crazy, how can anyone enjoy a site surrounded by a motorway, a dual carriage way, a railway line and an amusement park but it had connections, several member's of my wife's family worked at Bothwell Hough Colliery on which the park is established, a plaque is by the hotel. Good luck and best wishes to the C&MHC and it's members in the coming years and to all the caravan newbies, make sure it's fastened on and just do it.  David & Irene Grimshaw.

And best wishes to you in your "retirement" David and Irene.

May you enjoy whatever it be that takes your fancy from now on.

D & I - you've done well to continue caravanning into your early 80's!

We changed much  (well, a bit wink) younger than that and now enjoy different styles of time away, either in our static van or self catering cottages (and, hopefully, when allowed again,  trips abroad.)

I wish you the very best with however you decide to spend time in the future. smile

All the very best, David and Irene.  Sorry you have decided to give up caravanning, but all the very best for what you decide to do.
