Every day without exception a thread is started critising the club and I have to admit tha,t on occasions, I am one that isn't happy with every aspect of the club.  So its about time we celebrated and pointed out the positives of the clubs.Happy

I'm so chuffed with them, I'm thinking of popping in to say hello and give them all a big hug when we're down that way in a couple of weeks.

Milk, no sugar for me.......

A bit of nice cake would go down well, too......

That's great Rochelle and a lot of kind words are well earned.  However do our grumbles get to someone who could deal with them - or should we write to the CC seperately?

Your "grumbles" get passed on whenever I see them! But of course if you have a complaint or a suggestion then please write to the relevent department, as it is likely to be dealt with more quickly.

As a CL Owner, I normally only read the 'CL' section of CT, but reading through this thread has been a very positive experience.  I know that many CL owners work incredibly hard to give their visitors a worthwhile experience, and I hope they are equally encouraged.

There are (of course) a wide variety of sites in the CL network, some are very basic, some much more sophisticated with many facilities.  Some are hugely popular, others are less busy.  Most CL visitors know that doing their research, and reading the reviews will pay dividends & help them choose a CL that suits their needs and budget.

When you have stayed at a particularly good CL, providing a review will be much appreciated by the owner.

I'm sure any prospective CL owner reading this Thread will be pleased to see them often referred to as 'Little Gems'.  Lets hope the Club continues to support the CL network with new initiatives that will help it both improve and grow.

I for one hugely enjoy being both a CC member and a CL owner showing members who visit our CL the beautiful surroundings & walks here in the Chilterns AONB.
