We are finding that loyalty to supermarkets is a very bad practice, we regularly get very good incentives to go back to Waitrose when we havent  been for some weeks same with Tesco and Sainsburys. Just yesterday I re-joined Sky at 60% less than I had been paying before (only for a year).

Perhaps if we start switching between the clubs we might be targetedwink

Similar feelings with loyalty.

Out of interest did you keep the same landlines telephone number? We've been with Virgin for years, great service and speeds but price just keeps going up despite cutting back on channels and only having basics. Can get a better deal as new customer but can' keep same landline number! Crafty. OH not keen to have a dish, cable is neat 😉. When I last enquired of Sky was told we' need a new landlines number. That's a pain cos we won' give out our mobile number and we'e had same landlines number for 32 years!

+1, I left BT when the B/Band price hit £52, I’m back 3yrs later & paying £30 for a better service. Loyalty counts for nothing, it’s used against those that continue to give their support. Likewise the cost of my energy has fallen over the years by switching suppliers. Loyalty-no, savvy-yessmile

"Enticing new members" ?  Will there be photographs?

Ha Ha. --- Good Point

A typical "page 3" on the CMC monthly magazing might entice some of the customers to continue paying their annual levy. Also might entice some new customers to give the CMC a try. smile

laughingwink

sky like to have the box plugged into a telephone line so its easy to get pay per view like sports events/boxing/footy etc etc just by pressing a button on the hand set. i work as a BT engineer for 15 years and the number of customers i visited with faults being reported and slapping the customer with a bill for £50 just to unplug the sky box was unbelievable. easy money for both companies.

Not comparable offers between the clubs though David.

CC - no deposit, pick your pitch on arrival arrive 12 O'clock

C&CC and commercial/private sites - pay deposit, pitches allocated, arrive after 1PM.

Also C&CC less sites to choose from.

Strangely enough Rocky, I have to agree with your post. Some people can't see past the end of their own nose. Savings can be made by shopping around.

Choosing from the CMC, the C&CC, CL's, CS's and Commercial sites can provide an amazing choice of campsite locations which are obviously rejected  by those with a strange loyalty complex about one particular supplier. .
