Covid 19 and membership

As all sites and CC approved sites have been suspended for 3 months (30th June) are we to expect the CMHC to suspend all memberships for 3 months.? My membership is due in July so I'm a bit loathed to not be able to use it and go anywhere only to be hit with a renewal as the suspension is lifted.

In all the time this medical emergency has been going i can say with my hand on heart i have never considered getting any kind of rebate on any of the many clubs organisations charities or any monthly or yearly subscription that i pay into.

Neither have I but I don't condemn anybody that does.

All of them being in business with the sole aim of making a profit to pay shareholder dividends and massive director salaries. There is a marked difference compared to the governance of CAMC which ploughs any profit back into the site network.

Therefore, your examples are irrelevant. Just saying. 😋

After such and inspiring and uplifting message how could I possibly consider not renewing my subscription.

Oh I forgot I paid it in February!

These are very unusual times. I hope we all get through this, but I realise that many will not and my heart goes out to all friends and especially families.
I’m very happy to continue with my membership, despite the fact we will not be touring during May and June. All those bookings will be cancelled as all sites are now closed. This is the right action and I accept it. We are also in the process of upgrading our Motorhome, but this is now held up, and we will have to wait for some normality to return sometime in the future. As it happens the garage is now closed and we can’t go anywhere. So we just sit tight, follow the guidelines and look out for our neighbours until this over. In years to come we will look back on this and thank our blessings to get through it and support the Club.
Strange days indeed. Stay safe everyone.

no that is what forums are for HD, you posted something and if anyone has a different view they post in reply, what is wrong with that?

Just had my mail as well.

It's as I said in my very first post at the top of pg1, the bills still need to be paid.

My £13.50 is safe in their hands👍🏻

+1

As I said somewhere I want the club to be there when all this over, if that 'costs' me £13.50, that is a very small price to pay.

If we all get our £13.50 back then where will the money come from to pay the wardens who are still working on site looking after them and keeping them in tip top condition for when they can be used again.

and the staff at EG? They are still there, perhaps working from home but still there and need paying?
