Not club standard and very disapointing

We arrived Friday lunchtime to be told only the east side toilet block was open! I was amazed at this as the site was very busy. The west side is by far the better half of the site at this time of year. The fallen leaves on the pitches & roads are very bad and will heavy rain most of the weekend it makes it very slippery underfoot. The wardens said they could not open the other toilet block as they were too busy to clean them? We only visited the site two weeks previous and they were both open then although some of the showers were locked, both mornings I had to wait in line for an available shower so they were needed The state of some of the pitches is a disgrace, it amazes me that the CMC have spent so much money on putting sheds on the dog walk when the state of the site roads, pitches is so below standard I think enough people have commented on this for something to be done about it My only fear is it will be closed for a refurbishment and not open again for several months We got talking to another customer on Sunday morning and he was so fed up with CMC price increases when the standard or number of sites is not improving he is not joining next time his renewal is due Time for some action from the club I think, although I doubt very much anything will be done

Only having one toilet block open if the site was as busy as usual at a weekend, does seem a wrong decision, which was rectified.

It should not have needed to be rectified. The sites manager made a poor decision presumably and given the general cost of pitches and the size of the site was not acceptable unless a large part of the site was closed.

If he is the one charged with supervising the site then yes. Not a site that I would use in this instance. Used it a couple of times in the past but no longer

I agree that the Regional Manager must hold some accountability. the site entrance has new signs in our newly branded colours announcing it and ' Experience Freedom' ie the pods.

Inside a very different story with the site manager rationing the facilities because of shortage of staff, many hard standings in poor condition and too small for todays caravans, cut up grass verges as a result of this etc...makes the site look pretty poor when people are paying commercial rates for their pitch..plus annual membership fee.

How do we get the Club to take note?

"How do we get the Club to take note?"

By contacting the club directly with your concerns.

Reporting the review with a sentence or two in the report box is one way of doing it or by emailing the sites department. Waiting for someone from the club to read the review might be fruitless.
