We are very disappointed with the new signage at the entrance to sites. The old green one was a welcoming and EASY TO SPOT after a long tow. The new ones are awful and really the type is too indistictive to spot, especially where there are other advertising or signage boards. Surely something more distinctive could have been designed!!! The general consensus of people we spoke to on sites was that this really is an issue the Club will have to address.

I find the new logo very easy to spot, it is clear and distinctive.

I thought it was an advert for ice cream!!

I'm no fan of the new signage, but if that's all you can find to comment on after staying at a club site or CL maybe caravanning's not the hobby for you!

We've stayed at 2 club sites and 3 CLs since the change - to be honest the signage is the last thing on my mind! smile

Agreed but whilst I don't like the signage I'm more bothered about the cost of the whole re branding. Probably running into 7 figures!!

We have not had a problem spotting the new signs so far although they are not as easy to see and we have mostly used sites we have  used before. White signs are far more common on the roads so the clubs ones could be overlooked in the mass of others, and the green was far more distinctive.

Wildwood, Its happened, daft I agree, but they've done it, and thats that!

But you don't HAVE to accept it, if you don't like it. I just ignore it. - As far as I'm concerned, I joined the Caravan club, and for me thats what it will remain. I only ever refer to it as the CC and don't recognise the new one.  Job Done!

Last couple of CL's we've stayed at haven't bothered to change the signage and guess they probably won't unless prompted by an inspector (based on conversations)

I passed a CC site recently (won't disclose which one in case they get in trouble with Management) who had the foresight to update their sign on one side of the board only. Therefore it was CC on the main route towards the site and CAMC on the reverse.

Incidentally, I was delighted to see an internet ad the other day for an outdoor leisure club which promised a whole host of benefits for a £48 joining fee. It was for a club which had a nice red pennant with a white 'CC' in the middle. Looked quite appealing. Anyone know which club that's for?
