Just spent a night at Gatwick. Yes, it’s right next to the runway and the planes are loud. But, they’re so frequent you stop noticing them after a while and they do stop late in the night so that didn’t disturb our sleep. The site staff were... Show more

Very warm welcome & helpful wardens. It's not a picturesque site but it is in a good location for visiting London and/or Brighton/Worthing. It is noisy because of the close proximity to the airport but we knew this as have been to this site previously. The planes do stop around midnight... Show more

Firstly the lady that helped me was great and so friendly. I felt right at home. The camp site was clean and tidy and the shower blocks were extremely clean. I expected noise from the airport but I slept like a baby. Loved it
