Denbigh Certificated Locations

Located in the heart of North Wales, Denbigh is a historic market town that overlooks the beautiful Vale of Clwyd.

Start your visit with a walk along the town walls. These held back Oliver Cromwell's army during the Civil War, and they offer stunning views out over the neighbouring countryside.

Then, take a look around the castle or enjoy other bits of historic architecture such as the Burgess Gate, Bron y Ffynnon (a Tudor townhouse), the churches of St Mary's and St Marcella's, Pendref Chapel and the Carmelite monastic house.

The Denbigh Show is an outdoor traditional family event held each summer. It includes carnival games, entertainment, barrel racing, a flower show and workshops covering various arts and crafts skills.
