Why stay here ...

Henfryn Farm is a working farm with sheep, cattle and goats. It has outstanding views looking down towards Denbigh and the castle and the Clwydian Range. Ifor and Edna have ran the CL for 44 years and have made many friends. There is a very nice dog walking area next door to the site through an oak woodland and a stream at the bottom where there is wild life at it's best. There is several walking paths from the site itself also.

Local area:

  • Denbigh town including supermarkets and pubs 3 miles away.
  • 2 Reservoirs with cycle tracks, a historical centre with a cafe and boat fishing on the lakes 8 miles away.
  • Village of Groes including a thatched roof inn serving food at a high standard called Llindir 2 miles away.
  • Snowden Mountain 35 miles away.

Facilities on site ...

  • Battery charging
  • Dog walk from site
  • Information room
  • TV reception: good

Lovely Peaceful Site

Henfryn Farm
We have just stayed here for two nights and we were delighted with the site. There are lovely views of the Welsh hills and the site is so peaceful. It is well away from the main roads and so no traffic noise and yet it is easily accessible and well signposted. The site itself is very well maintained and the facilities are well positioned. We will certainly stay again as this is on our favourite CLs list!

Peace and relaxation guaranteed

Henfryn Farm
A pretty little paddock sited off a narrow lane Beside a red brick farm, Where slopes and sheltering hedge help tame prevailing winds and rain- A place of peace and calm. A brace of noble fir trees whisper gently in the breeze Below the wide Welsh skies, With wonderous views beyond them, patchwork fields, and hills, and trees- Above, a buzzard flies. I gaze out of my window over clover-studded lawns, And let my mind roam free Across this rich and verdant place, which wraps me in its arms, And brings such peace to me.

Tranquil, peaceful, scenic.

Henfryn Farm
Title pretty much sums it up, spent three nights here, could hear the proverbial pin drop. It was an absolute joy. Will certainly visit again. Took the advice of a fellow member who visits on a regular basis and took the route through the industrial estate on leaving, misses Denbigh town centre out. (Couple of pinch point's)
