It is within walking distance of a pub and central to Llandeilo and Carmarthen, while further afield are the Brecon Beacons, the Carmarthenshire, Gower, Pembrokeshire and Cardiganshire coastlines.

Excellent country CL

We stayed here in Oct thus the fully serviced and hard standing pitches were perfect particularly with the passing of storm Ashley. Easy access from the A48 along suitably sized B roads as described in the web page. Very nice toilets and shower are provided. The site is level and,... Show more

Wonderful

This has to be one of the best CL's we have visited. Our host was very welcoming and helpful. It is a beautiful location in Carmarthenshire. Clean toilets nicely presented together with a shower. Each pitch has its own water and waste disposal drain. It is quiet despite... Show more

Tranquil little spot

A perfect site if you want to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy the calm and quietness. Beautiful setting with views all around. Plenty of walking opportunities also. £24 one adult and a dog for a hardstanding pitch, electric, water and grey waste on pitch. Toilet block is perfect... Show more

Perfect

Its such a shame there are no photos of this site because it really is perfect for a CL, 360 degree panorama of a beautiful pastoral scene, Paxton tower in one direction (illuminated at night), Dryslwyn castle ruins in another, the Brecon Beacons in the distance, in the middle... Show more

Perfect for visiting the Botanic Gardens

This site was perfect for a visit to the Botanic Gardens of Wales. We walked along the lanes to the gardens and spent five hours there but did manage to fit in Paxton's Tower, that you can see on the hill from the site, on the way back. ... Show more

Exceptionally clean, peaceful site.

Exceptionally clean peaceful site, well maintained. The unisex toilet and shower block is immaculate (1 shower, 2 toilet cubicles & 2 sinks). Perfectly located to visit National Botanical Gardens of Wales & Aberglasney Gardens. 5 minute walk to the local pub - the Emlyn Inn where there is a nice selection... Show more

Little gem

Great site, spotless toilets and shower, great access to local countryside and Botanical Gardens. Food Emporium down the road and the local pub both great for food and drink. Mrs Edwards is a very welcoming and lovely host. Everything you want from a CL.

A real Welsh welcome

Mrs Edwards couldn’t be more friendly or helpful. The site is perfectly located to visit the Botanical Gardens, we rode our bikes and got a 50% discount for being environmentally friendly. The Emlyn Arms is only 5 minutes walk and the food is very good as is the beer. The shower... Show more

Peace and quiet

As others have already said about this site - it’s a gem! We stayed at the beginning of May for a few days and found the owners so polite and helpful. The toilets/shower are clean and tidy, the pitches are immaculate and have individual taps and drainage. ... Show more
