The owners were so kind, - we had a problem with our motorhome and Trevor offered to meet the repairers so our trip wasn't interrupted, giving a few hours of his time. We cycled over the historic Sylen mountain to join the cycle route at Horeb. The views were stunning and we reached the Millennium coastal path at Llanelli where you could go right or left along the saltmarshes. On the way back we stopped for something to eat at the Waunwyllt Inn ( lovely), before following our route back.

Beautiful spot, great views

Cwrty Cledyn
It's a bit off the beaten track but definitely worth the trip Very peaceful, superb views and very friendly and helpful owners. Electric is on a metre which suits us. Toilet block and water at entrance by the horses in the field. Would stay again.

Peacefull site

Cwrty Cledyn
We arrived on site 5 august to be met by Trevor who showed us our pitch and where the water etc. were located. The site is at the top end of a sloping field which give you great views over the valley below. The pitches have a slight incline but Trevor has put plenty of blocks to the rear of the gravelpitches. Within 20 minutes of the site you have botanic gardens of Wales, Paxton tower, pembrey park and beach, Llanelli town and Carmarthen town. Supermarket, chip shop and Chinese takeaway less than 10 minutes away in pontyberem. Anne and Trevor informed us there was a racemeeting at ffos last racecourse during our stay so needless to say we went and had a great afternoon there managing to pick a few winners. We used a local taxi there and back. We had a lovely chat with them on our penultimate night as they have one of the small barns converted as a social meeting place with tables and chairs etc. And they told us that gold had been found in one of the local Brooks. Anne keeps a few horses and she kindly took us into the stables to meet them. We will be going back.

Excellent CL in peaceful surroundings

Cwrty Cledyn
Great CL with panoramic views and good facilities. Site is 10 minutes from the Sustran Swiss Valley Cycle path and run by 2 very friendly owners . Pitches are hard standing with pay as you go metered electricity. Leveling blocks are necessary on most of the pitches . Unfortunately our visit was only one night but we will definitely return

Had a lovely 2 night stay. Quiet, peaceful and Anna and Trevor were very attentive making sure we had everything we needed. Spectacular views across the Gwendreath valley, overlooking the village of Pontyberem. Would definitely stay here again when we’re in the area.
