Great site for exploring Anglesey

Bryn Aber
We have just stayed here for two weeks and had a great time, the owners are very welcoming and have home made gifts, jams, chutneys and delicious cakes for sale. The local beach is beautiful and there are lots of places to explore from the site with many places to walk, run or cycle, there is also a great kids park in the village. The bottom pitches can get water logged but they do dry up quickly even after torrential rain. The pitch sizes are really generous with lots of room in front and space for the kids to play with nice views of the sunset. We would definitely recommend a stay here and would come again.

Fabulous Scones and Jam!

Bryn Aber
We stayed here for 2 nights on 21st and 22nd July 2023. We were met by Julie at the gate who gave us a lovely welcome and talked us through the location of whereabout on site of recycling, chemical waste disposal and the all important cake shed - not just cake lots of lovely items for sale, cakes, jams, pickles. Book and CD Swaps and lends. Lovely area. Pitches are large and on grass. All have their own water and electric. No other facilities on site. We paid £20 per night for 2 adults and a very well behaved dog. There are loads of walks in the area the Llanddwyn Beach and Forest is easily accessible and is just stunning - the sunshine helped I am sure but its a beautiful area. The village is only a short walk from the site and they have a well stocked shop and a lovely pub. We had a drink but no food but it did look good as it went past to other customers. There is a lovely little beer garden. The Red Squirrel cafe was closed when we passed so can't comment on what it was like. Lovely site, lovely area and it is definitely on the return to list.

A delightful, peaceful CL

Bryn Aber
I was met at the gate by Julie, and given a very warm welcome. The site has very large pitches, and feels very open with lovely distant views to one end of the 'field'. Everything is well ordered and well looked after, the lawn being cut and clippings picked up, and bins emptied very regularly. Each pitch has electricity and water. There is a small enclosed orchard for letting dogs off the lead, and this is great for early mornings, or last thing at night. The small 'hut' has a book exchange, very reasonably priced home-made jams/marmalade, delicious slices of cakes or scones, and various other things. Newborough forest and beach is only a few minutes away by car, and quite stunning. I will certainly be returning to Bryn Aber. An excellent CL, so thank you Julie and Ray for looking after it, and 'campers', so well.

'PEACEFUL'

Bryn Aber
On arrival we were met by Julie and Ray with a warm welcome and stayed on their site for 10 days, some of which were blustery and wet but a lovely peaceful place to be. A well kept site with short grass and spacious pitches No facilities but water and EHU on each pitch. and and information hut with books, dvds, chutney and cakes etc Some interesting places to visit, walking and geocaching, if going to South Stack go early, we couldn't get a parking space late morning If looking for a clothes bargain visit the outlet at Llanfair PG and the fish and chips from Codmother in Newborough are the best we have had for a while.

Great site

Bryn Aber
Stayed for 8 nights. Nice location, friendly owners. Easy check in. Great pitch size. Dog walking area. 15 min walk to White Lion pub (small pub in village). Metered Electric with 10Kwh free (if you use any more pay on departure), we did not scrimp on Electricity and had nothing to pay at end. Looking forward to going back.
