Why stay here ...
Quiet back to nature Adults only CL with level hard standings, each with 16 amp electric, own water tap and grey waste so no carrying of water and waste! Owned by a caravanner of 25+ years in the Caravan and Motorhome Club, who has caravanned all around the UK and as far afield as Czechoslovakia.
Three ponds and walkways between trees and shrubs for you and/or your dog if you have one. Wildlife in abundance - you will likely meet rabbits in the early morning and maybe the odd hedgehog. A little further afield you may find red squirrels and ravens. You may see water voles in our ponds as well as fish and frogs amongst the water lilies. In May/June you will see brightly coloured Mayfly's dancing around the ponds. If you are an early riser you may catch the Heron doing his daily visit. Later replaced by lots of songbirds including robins, wrens, thrushes, starlings, blackbirds and ravens amongst others. In the dark sky on clear nights you may see owls flying overhead.
The site is off the road with a 12 foot wide gate that we keep shut for your privacy and for a greater part of the year you can't even see caravans from outside the site. Modern chemical waste disposal point. In 2020 we added a shower room and toilet as well as a separate dog shower. Free Wi-Fi also available.

Peaceful location with excellent facilities
Brambles
After readingnprevious reviews we felt we had to try the Brambles. Wasn't disappointed at all. Eric and Sue are lovely hosts and extremely helpful. The site is well laid out and having service pitches makes for a relaxing stay. Ensure you follow the instructions to locate the site as the dinal turn off the main road appears quickly. Very pleased with the site. If only the weather was as accomodating. We do not have any reservations recommending Brambles.
Great CL in a great location
Brambles
I have just returned from my second visit to Brambles, and within 24 hours of returning home I have booked again for next year. That tells you everything you need to know. The owners are very friendly and helpful, the communication before and after staying is perfect and the site itself is great. All facilities are on hand, with EHU, fresh water and grey waste on each pitch. The location is superb, and after 10 days, I still had places I wanted to visit. Ideal for dogs with a good dog walk on site and plenty of beaches and forests nearby. When I got home, I got an email from Eric and Sue asking if I would let them know what improvements they could come up with. I couldn't think of any. It's a great place and you should try it.
An amazing CL
Brambles
We have just returned after a week at Brambles. What can I say that hasn’t already been said by the previous reviews? It really is a gem hidden away from the road. The toilets (en suites) are spotless, the pitches are spacious, the WiFi and tv signals are very good, the gardens are beautifully maintained, I could go on. I definitely would recommend Erik and Sue, wonderful hosts
Great CL in perfect location
Brambles
This CL has to be one of the best we have ever stayed at. It is like staying in a private gardens, surrounded by birdsong and pleasing shrubs, hedges and saplings and two stunning ponds with water lilies. Very peaceful and relaxing.
Sue and Eric’s attention to detail in all aspects of the CL is evident everywhere, from communications to the facilities which were spotless and gleaming. Instant piping hot water in the showers, good fresh water pressure tap and grey waste water drains on each pitch.

Perfect CL site in a stunning location!
Brambles
Wow...we have just had a week at Brambles CL site and I already want to book again! The CL site is perfect and couldn't fault it. This is an adults only site that accepts dogs in a stunning location with excellent facilities! Communication with owners is faultless down to detailed navigation routes on how to get to site, and they are so welcoming when you arrive. Pitches are large and screened off from your neighbours to some extent. Shower and toilet facilities were spotless and warm. Plus they have a dog walking area in their lovely landscaped grounds. The overall area of Newborough Natural Nature Reserve and Forest is just stunning with miles of paths through the pine forests to the best sandy beaches I have seen in the UK.
I would definitely recommend and we will be re-booking!
