The CL is 3-5 minute walk away from the shops and local country pub and 8-10 minutes away from Landmark Adventure Park making it a fantastic family getaway of all ages.
Carrbridge offers something for everyone, its Golf Course is right across the road and easily accessible, there are plenty of woodland walks, be it just an after dinner stroll or a trek through the Cairngorm National Park. It is well known for its Packhorse Bridge that is 300 years old this year, and also hosts a few events such as the annual chainsaw carving championships and the annual world porridge making championships. Its also known for its traditional and contemporary music with events throughout the year. It truly is the Jewel of the Highlands.
Carrbridge is 25 minute drive from the city of inverness giving you the option for a day out in the highland capital, it is also 10 minutes from Aviemore, the base of the cairngorm mountain for the Skiers and funicular railway to the top of the mountain. Also 10 minute drive away to Grantown on Spey and that will lead you to the renowned Speyside Whiskey trail.

Stayed for a one night stopover while heading south from The North coast. Good level pitch with everything as it should be. Lovely walk along river into Carrbridge and a woodland walk nearby. Owner was lovely and a dedicated animal lover who I watched looking after a lovely Clydesdale mare in the field... Show more

Stayed with 2 fellow motorhoming friends in mid-July. Easy walk of 5-10 minutes across a small field and along the river, into Carrbridge, passing the beautiful old Packhorse Bridge on the way. Easy walk into carrbridge and east drive to aviemore etc. Landmark close by. We will visit again, Grandkids had their bikes with them and soon found the excellent pump track close by as well walks through the elam woods.

Had a lovely 4 nights here, stayed an extra night as so relaxing! We were surprised it wasn’t fully booked tbh, a great price including hook up at 16A too! Its very well organised without feeling it and each hardstanding has grass by it with 3 full grass pitches, also... Show more

Now open fantastic site, lovely people, electric hook up, waste water and chemical waste. Dog walk on doorstep, pub with excellent food 5 mins walk, Highly recommend we have been here 2 nights 🏴

We stopped for 2 nights on our way north and would be happy to book another stay in this pleasant site. Owner easy to deal with and facilities all in good order. A repeat visit to this CL - still a great location for exploring the Cairngorms - good cycling in the area. Easy access to Carrbridge for shop / cafe/ pub. Visit only spoiled by some loud music from a neighbouring house and dog poo on the site. Irresponsible dog... Show more
