Pleasant site with lots of space & our friendly host appeared as if by magic on his super speedy buggy when we arrived. Miles of beautiful walks, both woodland & bridleways etc. Perfect spot for breaking up our journey on the A1

What a lovely surprise to see planes taking off and landing. Peaceful and quiet with lots of space. Woodland walks and lovely countryside. Mt and Mrs Bell couldn't have been more welcoming. Definitely come again.

Took the grandies again this year as they had such a great time last year. No planes flying as the wind was howling. Well drained site. It poured for 12 hours overnight but dried out by mid morning. Peace and quiet plus plenty of room for kids to run around.... Show more

Lovely CL with spacious pitches, well marked water/waste points and short grass. Amazing to see the light aircraft take off and land and great woodland walks. Toilet facilities are basic, located within a festival style portacabin and in need of repair/updating/removal. If on site toilet facilities aren't important to you then... Show more

The site is very large for a cl and David the owner is great. The site also has light aircraft landing mainly at weekends which is great to see they come right over the hedge and in to the field below. We will return.

We have just returned from Forwood Farm, it's a lovely site, very quite, the photo doesn't do the pitch justice. We had a lovely welcome from David the owner, who told us some places to go, even the pitch didn't get waterlogged in the really wet weather. We will definitely... Show more
