Lovely site

Stayed in August on the grass and then in October on the hard standing, lovely welcome on arrival, grass is well kept, views are panoramic, the hard standing is nearer the farm buildings so don’t expect a 10am sleep in cos it’s a working dairy farm. Nice wide access through... Show more

Fabulous stay

We stayed over new year for two nights. On arrival we were met by the owner and family and they couldn’t have been more helpful. The weather wasn’t the best but that did not detract from our relaxing stay. I would like to say a big thank you to Georgina for making... Show more

Great

A great CL. Very good access and a hard standing pitch. Fantastic views. The farm didn’t bother us, in fact we enjoyed seeing the animals. Very clean and tidy with a toilet aswell. A lovely friendly family. We hope to come back next year.

site next to main farmyard

The position of the site is too close to all the extremely noisy farm activities. We were part of the farm yard, 50 metres from one of the huge metal cow sheds housing over 2,000 heffers permanently inside. We were on the site for 6 nights in September and... Show more

Sanctuary

Great CL. Easy to find and access CL, is behind the farm but the views are great. Yes it’s a working farm but not noisy. The cows do moo, but you can ignore them. (Ask for fresh milk if you dare). They’ll sell you fresh eggs too. Unfortunately the dog... Show more

Disappointing

We had high expectations of this site and were disappointed for several reasons. Didn't find the owner particularly friendly. Not as picturesque as the pictures would have you believe. Described as dog friendly but the lambs in the field were constantly coming into the area where you pitch which isn't... Show more
