This is a lovely well kept peaceful site. It's not a great walking or cycling area. There's a bus service from the village 3/4m away twice a week to Penrith. There are woods around the site with owls, buzzards, deer, highland cattle.

We stayed for a weekend in July. The weather wasn't brilliant but the site was lovely. Quiet, nice views and a well kept site made the weekend great despite the rain.

A really nice welcome from the owners and a really nice quiet site with views across the valley to the hills beyond. They are occasionally obscured by mist or cloud though. I wish more sites were like this.
