View and BookLower Dutson Farm is located just 2 miles from Launceston (or Lanson!) the historic capital and 'Gateway to Cornwall' with its very own Norman Castle and Steam Railway. Enjoy coffee and cake at Homeleigh Garden Centre just 400m away or spend the day on site overlooking our pretty 0.75 acre sheltered lake. The site's central location offers easy access to both the North and the South Coast, as well as popular attractions in Devon and Cornwall such as Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor, Tamara Way. The site is open all year round and has some hard-standing. Members are welcome to arrive at any time but please be considerate of other guests.
The site has been open since the 1960s and was used as a brickworks in the late 19th Century. You are welcome to fish the coarse lake as well as the River Tamar at a discounted rate. The coarse fishing lake is stocked with mirror and common carp (some weighing over 20lb), tench, bream, roach, perch and rudd. There is no closed season.
Beauty treatments such as massage, reflexology and aromotherapy are available on site.
Self catering cottage also available.
