Why stay here ...
Lower Dutson Farm is located just 2 miles from Launceston (or Lanson!) the historic capital and 'Gateway to Cornwall' with its very own Norman Castle and Steam Railway. Enjoy coffee and cake at Homeleigh Garden Centre just 400m away or spend the day on site overlooking our pretty 0.75 acre sheltered lake. The site's central location offers easy access to both the North and the South Coast, as well as popular attractions in Devon and Cornwall such as Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor, Tamara Way. The site is open all year round and has some hard-standing. Members are welcome to arrive at any time but please be considerate of other guests.
The site has been open since the 1960s and was used as a brickworks in the late 19th Century. You are welcome to fish the coarse lake as well as the River Tamar at a discounted rate. The coarse fishing lake is stocked with mirror and common carp (some weighing over 20lb), tench, bream, roach, perch and rudd. There is no closed season.
Beauty treatments such as massage, reflexology and aromotherapy are available on site.
Self catering cottage also available.

Ein sehr ruhiges Plätzchen mit viel Grün und viel Baumbestand. Ideal zum entspannen. Stellplätze sehr eben, mit Strom, mit Ver- und Entsorgung. Keine Duschen. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hier könnten wir es länger aushalten, wenn wir nicht zur Fähre müssten.

A haven from the storms
Francis was on hand on arrival to let you know where everything is. £20 with EHU. Toilet available, water and Elsan. No showers. Basic but perfect for a remote stay. We parked up by the fishing lake. It was idillic. There are walks in the fields down to the river.... Show more

Perfect site to chill and relax

Just Perfect!
This a very peaceful and well maintained CL. All pitches are well spaced out and the lake is beautiful to walk around. We settled in on a pitch and David came to check on us in the evening and to welcome us. A very dog friendly site.... Show more

Rural - perfect!

Lovely!
We have just returned from a lovely 6 night stay here. The ground was good despite having wet weather. Very quiet with good dog walks from the site. Although we don't fish, it was popular with fisherman and the lake is lovely to look at.

Perfect spot
