Go Falconry - Wisbech St Mary, Cambridgeshire
An awe-inspiring experience coming into close proximity with some of the world's most elegant Birds of Prey!
View and BookWindrush is a pleasant site located at the rear of our property. It is surrounded by farmland in the heart of the Cambridgeshire Fens. Pets and children are both welcome at the site by arrangement. The site itself is situated on half an acre of land. All pitches are level, laid to lawn and divided by shrubs and trees. Each pitch has easy access to electrical hook-ups with plenty of space for awnings.
This site makes an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area and there is a small information hut on site which lists upcoming local events. The village shop is approximately 1 mile away selling basic supplies. Wisbech is a charming market town located nearby with beautiful Georgian architecture and a range of supermarkets, shopping facilities and interesting museums. Other attractions in this town include the National Trust property 'Peckover House' and the local Elgoods Brewery and Gardens. The area is ideal for cycling and walking with plenty of village pubs to stop at along the way for a quiet lunch or drink. Coarse fishing is also available within 3 miles.
Further away is the historic town of King's Lynn with Hunstanton and the North Norfolk Coast beyond that. Sandringham is also within easy reach with its lovely grounds and forest to explore. Peterborough and Ely with their beautiful Cathedrals are also within easy distance and are well worth exploring.
Children and dogs welcome by arrangement
