You land in Calgary, the largest city in the Canadian province of Alberta, where you can rest in your hotel before collecting your RV and some supplies.
Head out to Banff, enjoying the scenic drive amongst the breathtaking landscapes of the Canadian Rockies. Once you reach your destination, choose to relax in the Banff Upper Hot Springs, or get out and about with a boat tour on Lake Minnewanka or a gondola ride to Sulphur Mountain.
Top tip: Experienced hikers will love the day’s walk along the trail up to the Aylmer Lookout.

After a couple of days in Banff, embark on the world-famous Icefields Parkway, a stretch of road that promises awe-inspiring scenery at every turn? This will take you towards Jasper, where you can immerse yourself in the rugged beauty of the National Park. If you would like to spend longer exploring this region, why not allow two days to take everything in.
Top tip: Take a trip on the Jasper SkyTram right to the top of Whistlers Mountain - a headspinning altitude of 2,500 m where the views are absolutely breathtaking.

From Jasper, make your way to Clearwater, the gateway to Wells Gray Provincial Park, known for its spectacular waterfalls. Helmcken Falls, one of the tallest in Canada, is a must-see!
Your next stop, Revelstoke, is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Take the scenic drive along the Trans-Canada Highway and enjoy the changing landscapes. In Mount Revelstoke National Park, drive up the Meadows in the Sky Parkway for an elevated perspective of the surrounding mountains.
Top tip: If you’re visiting in the summer months you’ll be blown away by the stunning wildflower displays in the Park.

Continuing your journey on the way to Radium Hot Springs, you’ll travel through the stunning landscapes of Kootenay National Park. The natural mineral pools at the Hot Springs provide a perfect place to unwind after days of exploration.
Top tip: Take a hike around the Burgess Shale, and discover beautifully-detailed, 500 million year old fossils.

We suggest your final stop before returning to Calgary should be the picturesque Kananaskis region, often considered a quieter alternative to Banff. Nestled among rugged peaks and alpine meadows, this area is ideal for outdoor activities.
Top tip: Get out and get active - whether you want to ride, cycle or run, Kananaskis is a beautiful part of Canada to do it.

From here you are heading home - back to Calgary and your flight returning to the UK. But as your road trip comes to an end, you can take a last glimpse of the Rockies, knowing you’ve experienced some of the most breathtaking landscapes Canada has to offer.
