How many years have you worked in the travel industry? 

Working in the travel industry is a new adventure for Karen after many years working in the computer services industry. She is really looking forward to her new and exciting journey, looking after your holiday from when you book until you travel.

Where are your favourite destinations? 

I have enjoyed visiting many European Cities and destinations, Italy being one of my favourites. I have a friend who lives in Barbados so it was amazing to visit and see the Island as a local.

What’s your dream destination?

I would love to visit Hawaii and the Canadian Rockies!!

How long have you worked in the travel industry? 

I’ve worked in travel for just over eight years. I love hearing about my customer's adventures and helping them with all their travel plans.

Where is your favourite place to travel? 

I have been lucky enough to travel throughout New Zealand, Canada and the USA in a motorhome. All of these destinations are incredible in different ways; New Zealand for the jaw-dropping landscapes around every corner, Canada for the abundance in wildlife and the USA for the iconic landmarks.

It’s very difficult to pick a favourite, but the bright blue lakes and pristine mountains in Western Canada would have to win my heart!

What’s your dream destination?

My absolute dream destination to visit would be Alaska. I’d love to see Denali National Park and take a trip on the Alaska Railroad coastal route down to Seward.

How long have you worked in the travel industry? 

I’ve had the pleasure of working within this diverse and interesting industry since 2001. I love using my travelling experiences to help others plan and have the holiday of a lifetime.

Where is your favourite place to travel? 

After spending a year working and travelling around New Zealand, it has to be one of my all-time favourites.

Additionally, for its stunning scenery and friendliness: Canada. For its beautiful coastline and wildlife: South Africa. Last, but not least, after having worked there I have to include Australia for its unique rawness of landscape and diversity between what each state and territory offers.

What's your dream destination? 

I also have a fondness for Latin America and would be equally excited if I was heading to Chile for the scenery or to be close to the wildlife in the Galapagos Islands.

How long have you worked in the travel industry? 

9 years and counting.

Where is your favourite place to travel? 

I love travelling to the USA. I’ve been lucky enough to visit 22 states so far and my favourite places were San Francisco for the amazing seafood and architecture, Yosemite for the most amazing scenery and Florida – for the theme parks!

Outside of the USA my favourite places are Dubai for the melting pot of cultures and the guaranteed weather and Thailand for the wonderful food and some of the friendliest people I’ve met.

What's your dream destination?

This is a tough one as my list is long, but my top 2 choices would be travelling around New Zealand or an Alaskan cruise.

How many years have you worked in the travel industry? 

Since 1997 - That’s 28 years!

Where have you travelled so far and what did you like about the destinations?

I’ve been fortunate to travel extensively across the globe — from the East to the West Coast of the USA, throughout much of Europe, and to many beautiful Caribbean islands. What I love most about travel is immersing myself in different cultures, sampling local cuisine, seeking out adventure, and of course, enjoying a little relaxation along the way.

Where is your favourite place to travel?

It has to be South Africa! The scenery is outstanding, the wildlife is breathtaking and being able to see the Big 5 in the wild whilst on Safari is an experience that I will treasure forever. South Africa offers exceptional value for money, with some of the world’s most mouth-watering culinary delights. I am very privileged to have also experienced the iconic Blue Train whilst on my travels within South Africa and this truly was a bucket list experience.

Where's next on your bucket list?

It has to be a motorhome trip along the east coast of Australia - I love the idea of the freedom that a motorhome gives you and being on your own adventure! I’d love to travel along the Great Ocean Road and go snorkelling in the Great Barrier Reef.
