Polestar

Polestar

Polestar was founded in 1996 and was originally known as Flash Engineering. Its prime objective was to manufacture a race car that would help the Volvo team to win the Swedish Touring Car Championship (STCC). The racing team was a success and many Volvo model cars today still use the technology from their racing time during the STCC, namely the S40, S60, C30, and V60.

Today the racing team are now known as Cyan Racing. Polestar changed to being an electric performance car brand in 2017. From the start, the newly Volvo-owned Polestar's goal was to offer their customers perfect drive-ability by balancing performance and control.
