Sustainability Chairman’s Award
2024 Winners
The Sustainability Chairman’s Award was created to celebrate the Site’s Network environmental, social and economic commitment, actions and engagement. A primary focus for this award is on an environmental, social or economic project, for example, tree planting, growing a wild meadow, installing bird boxes and bug hotels, waste reduction projects, raising money for a local charity, collecting second-hand clothing for local charities, promoting local business, hosting local food vendors, donating % of the money raised in the shop to the local community.
The entrants were judged on the award criteria by the Club Chairman, David Turner, who assessed each application and made the final decision on the winner of the 2024 Sustainability Chairman’s Award.
