Elddis began life in the 1960s by entrepreneur caravan designer and builder Siddle Cook, who launched his caravan business just outside County Durham, using his name spelled backwards as the brand we know today.

Elddis remains in Consett, County Durham but is now part of one of the largest Worldwide Groups in the leisure industry.
