We are now accepting bookings for stays up to 24 June 2025 at Baltic Wharf Club Campsite. Please note that there is a slight risk our lease may be terminated early by the landlord. If you are booked to stay in late June and we need to cancel your booking, any payment you have made will be fully refunded. Our nearest alternative campsites are Cheddar Club Campsite and Bath Chew Valley Affiliated Club Campsite.

The AJ Bell Great Bristol Run is due to pass this site on Sunday 11 May. Cumberland Road will be closed to all traffic from 6.00am until after 3pm so there will be no access on/off the site during this time. See Here for further information.

• Arrivals - All arrivals on the 11 May will be delayed until after 3pm due to road closures. Please plan your journey accordingly.
• Departures - All departures will need to leave before 07:45am. When departing, please exit right out of the campsite and onto Brunel Way (A3029/A370). As the A4 Portway will also be closed to all traffic. Follow the A3029 and then signs for the A369 Portishead and UWE Bower Ashton. Continue on A369 to Junction 19 of M5. Follow M5 North to junction 16 interchange for the M4.

The Bristol Clean Air Zone covers the central part of Bristol between Bristol Temple Meads Station and the A3029, including Cumberland Road and Baltic Wharf Club Campsite. Click here for more information.

The annual New Forest and Hampshire County Show will be taking place on the 29, 30 and 31 July. For tickets and show information please click Here. This event will increase traffic volumes on route and along Aldridge Hill (the access road to the campsite) which is narrow with limited passing places. To avoid peak traffic periods of oncoming vehicles, please avoid arriving between 4-6 pm, and for departures we suggest leaving site between 10am - 12 noon.

The B5289 road will be closed between 6pm and 11pm from 22 April until 13 May. Access to and from the site will be allowed whilst the works are taking place.

The access road from Grange to Portinscale (Manesty) will be closed from 28 April until 12 May. The road will be open for access to and from the site however there may be a delay whilst machinery is moved out of the way to allow access.

There is currently no heating in the Toilet Block due to an issue with the boiler. We are waiting for a part and unfortunately don't have a timescale for this repair.

Construction work will commence on neighbouring land from 10 April for approximately 2 weeks. This is to fill in excavation works post a recent exploratory archeology project. Noise may be heard from the machinery during the working hours of 8:30am-4pm Monday to Friday.

During quieter occupancy periods, and in order to be as efficient as possible from a financial and sustainability perspective, please be advised that the facility block located to the West side of the site may not be in use. From 1 July 2024, Super Pitches at this site were converted to Service Pitches. Therefore, black waste will have to be emptied at a CCEP. A refund will be processed on your arrival for the duration of your stay, to reflect these changes, if required.

Following the installation of the upgraded Wi-Fi at our Chatsworth Park Club Campsite, there have been some technical issues which is affecting the quality of the on-site Wi-Fi. The provider continues to work on this and we hope to have it resolved soon. In the meantime, access to Wi-Fi may be limited.

The annual Wychwood Festival is being held at Cheltenham Racecourse on 30 May - 1 June. This is a family fun festival but tickets sellout fast, so if you would like to purchase tickets, please click here for more details. Due to the nature of this outdoor event there will be a level of noise that may be heard into late evening and there will be additional traffic in the area.

There will be some local road closures between 24 April - 1 May. Please use the recommended route into the park as shown on web/handbook, via A614/Apleyhead entrance. If travelling on the B6034 and using the Carburton entrance, please follow diversions.

Phase two improvements are also scheduled for autumn/winter/spring 2024/2025 with the site remaining open throughout operating on the one new facilities block. From 11 to 15 November the road into Dulverton will be closed with diversions in place from Exebridge.

Junction Road is permanently closed please use an alternative route, from the North on the A21 head towards Battle A2100 via the Johns Cross roundabout, follow this until you reach The Ridge Way and merges onto the B2093, directions after that are the same as on the website.

There is no access to this site before 1pm and waiting at the entrance is not possible as this blocks access. Please arrive after 1pm.

Whilst the site is less busy, the East Side of the site will be out of use. We expect to open this part of the site by Easter, weather permitting. The playground will be accessible but will have pedestrian access only.

The annual Wilkswood Reggae Festival is being held in the village of Langton Matravers on 24-27 July, approximately 1.5 miles from Site. Due to the nature of this outdoor event there will be a level of noise that may be heard into late evening and there may be additional traffic in the area.

Due to essential maintenance on the power network, there will be a power cut on site, and in the local area on Tuesday 6 May through the day. The facility block will be closed during this time.

Longleat Safari Park is holding its Festival of Light event from 8 November to 11 January (Longleat Campsite closes on 4 January). The Festival of Light is an extremely popular event and dates can and do sell out. For full details, to check event availability and to purchase tickets please see The Festival of Light 2025/26.

During quieter occupancy periods, and in order to be as efficient as possible from a financial and sustainability perspective, please be advised that the facility block located at the Northern end of the site may not be in use. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, however the remaining two blocks will be available with respective full facilities.

Swimming Pool: Open from 24 May to 15 Sep (weather dependent). A lifeguard will be on duty when the pool is in operation. The pool will be open from 10am - 6pm but please check with the Site Staff for the exact opening times when you arrive on site. It may be necessary to run timed sessions at busy periods. Children aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Anglian Water has an issue with their equipment outside of this site. They have stationed a tanker to pump water which is currently operating 24 hours a day, resulting in some noise. We hope this will be resolved by 23 April.

Please be aware the site has no working phone line and therefore are unable to take card payments.

Maintenance works are taking place in the Northbound part of the Tyne Tunnel until Summer 2025. All traffic will be directed through a single lane in the Southbound tunnel on weekends only which will result in delays. Both tunnels will remain open on weekdays Monday to Friday.

A Scout Parade through Tewkesbury will take place on Sunday 27 April between 1pm - 1:45pm. Barton Street, The High Street and Gander Lane will be closed with a rolling road block in operation where the road will reopen continuously behind the parade participants. This will cause a slow approach to the campsite. Please take care as there will be high levels of pedestrians and slow moving traffic during this event.

The annual Tewkesbury Medieval Festival is on 12-13 July and is the largest free medieval re-enactment and fayre in Europe. During this event, please be aware of traffic and pedestrian volumes which will be higher than normal. Please take care on your journey and follow the directions on the 'Map' tab on our campsites webpage.

Please note: this Club campsite is situated near the River Severn and the River Swilgate tributary. Following periods of prolonged and heavy rainfall, river levels may rise causing the tributary to occasionally breach. The access road to site can then become inaccessible and the site might be affected by flooding during these events. Notice to dog owners: Incidents of dogs falling ill following a visit to the woodland on the Sandringham Estate can be reported between the months of August and November. This is not specific to the Club site but dog owners should be aware and take precautions when visiting the woodland area around the site. The annual Family Fun Day is on Monday 5 May. Alongside free family entertainment there's delicious food, and an atmosphere buzzing with excitement. Ladies Night evening race event on Saturday 10 May will be followed by a live music event featuring Ministry of Sound Ibiza Anthems with Ellie Sax & Friends. The annual Boomtown Music Festival will be held in the Matterley Estate on 6-10 August. This festival features an eclectic array of music genres and is for adults over the age of 18. This festival attracts a large audience so please be aware of higher traffic volumes than normal in this area. You may also hear the festival at times from site. Please note: this Club campsite is situated within York Flood Defense boundaries. If river levels rise, the Environmental Agency close the flood barriers to protect local housing. When the Environmental Agency take the decision to activate the defense it is often at short notice and York Rowntree site has to be evacuated. The access road to the site is inaccessible and the site is also likely to be affected by flooding during these events.
