Day 3 - Royal Botanic Garden and Royal Yacht Britannia
Your first destination today is Edinburgh’s Royal Botanic Gardens. Set in 70 acres, the garden's history goes back over 350 years and features an amazing array of plants from numerous parts of the world, just waiting for you to come and discover them. Explore the garden at your own pace, enabling you to enjoy it in your own way.
Then after an enjoyable morning your next destination is the Scottish coast where you’ll find the famous Royal Yacht Britannia moored. Step aboard the yacht which was a royal residence for over 40 years and a favourite of Queen Elizabeth II as she sailed around the world on state visits. As you explore the ships decks, rooms and apartments, imagine yourself travelling the world in style and learn about life on board.
Day 4 - The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo
You can largely enjoy today at your leisure. Perhaps relax on site after a day of sightseeing or explore a little more of the local area?
In the evening you will enjoy a delicious meal at a local restaurant, before heading over to the Edinburgh Castle Esplanade for the main event. With the magnificent backdrop of Edinburgh Castle, sit back and enjoy the world-famous Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo spectacular! Be entertained by the impressive skills of military bands, display teams and dancers, and revel in the music and celebration of this wonderful event.
Day 5 - Depart the campsite
After an enjoyable show, it’s time to depart, but with some wonderful memories to take with you.
