What is changing?
We are trialling a lower deposit value, changing the deposit from 10% (or £20 minimum) to a flat fee of just £5 per booking for all UK Club campsites.
The trial came into effect on 4 July 2024. The £5 deposit applies to bookings made at UK Club campsites for any stay in 2024 and 2025.

Why is the deposit reducing?
We introduced deposits in 2022 to reduce the number of speculative bookings and we're pleased to say that cancellations have reduced by 70% (so more members than ever can find a pitch at the campsite they want to visit).
We believe we can now reduce the deposit and retain a low cancellation rate – hence the £5 deposit trial. -
Are the cancellation and amendment terms staying the same?
Yes - it is FREE to cancel providing you do so more than 21 days before arrival (you will be fully refunded the original deposit paid).

Will the £5 deposit become permanent?
We have chosen to trial an ultra low deposit to support members as much as possible especially during the current challenging economic situation. Depending on how members respond to it, we may look to extend the trial.

Terms and Conditions - £5 Deposit
*Standard booking deposits (i.e non promotional bookings) are fully refundable if you cancel or amend your booking up to 21 days before your stay.
For bookings made from 4 July 2024, a deposit will be calculated for each individual campsite stay within a booking and will usually be £5 per stay (the £5 is a fixed amount regardless of the price of the stay, the campsite booked, or the dates booked).
