A small, friendly site in the delightfully scenic Valais region, Gemmi offers stunning mountain views from its large, spacious, level grass pitches. Its grounds are well-kept and amenities, though limited for children, are clean and tidy.
Fresh bread can be ordered every morning and guests can enjoy an evening meal in the on-site restaurant or from the takeaway cabin that opens in the evenings.
With the famous Matterhorn and the resort of Zermatt nearby, Gemmi is located near some of Switzerland’s best mountain scenery. The village of Leukerbad is pretty place to spend the day, while a trip to the nearby town of Sion with its twin castles comes highly recommended. Visitors can also stretch their legs on the numerous hiking paths in the area.
