Lovely Position and Lots to Do!
Camping Alpenblick
Natterer See is a large hillside site featuring its own lake offering swimming and sailing options. Our tiered hillside position gave us a slightly sloping (relatively small) area separated from the next level down by a vertical grass bank. No handrail here so handbrake obligatory. There were plenty of other pitches with a less daunting outlook however. Facilities were excellent and modern and the site well maintained. The site is connected to Innsbruck by a free 20 minute, twice hourly bus service. In fact all the bus and tram services were free with the guest card given to us on arrival at the site. As the modern tram network from Innsbruck has taken over the old mountain railway line to the ski-resort of Fulpmes the ride is well worth taking especially as it’s free. Innsbruck and it’s river is also worth a day.
