Why stay here ...

Camping La Pedera is open all year round offering a peaceful stay near the small town of Bigastro. During the summer months after a day exploring, you can relax around the pool area which also includes a shallow area for children.

The campsite has a great snack bar and restaurant offering traditional dishes everyday except Mondays in the low season. During the high season there is occasional live music entertainment. There is a playground along with an area for children to play football and basketball on site.

La Pedrera is on the edge of a natural area and only four kilometres from Embalse de la Pedrera, the biggest marsh in Alicante province and offers plenty of opportunities for walking and cycling nearby. You can also take a trip to coast which is about a 35 minute drive.

Saturday music hell.

Arrived on site at 2 o’clock and was looking forward to having a cold beer then a nice dinner in the restaurant. Unfortunately the bar did not open until 5 o’clock and the restaurant was closed for the season. Luckily we had some supplies in. There is a music venue close... Show more

Peace and quiet.

This being a new site to the Caravan club we didn’t book ahead and rang up a day in advance. They had a space left! I recommend you book ahead if you have a large motorhome like us. If you go for the sun then this is not the place... Show more
