Level pitch with countryside view

We spent two nights here and had no trouble accessing our pitch with an 8m motorhome. The bar and restaurant and shop are at the bottom of the site and used by local people, so a happy Spanish atmosphere at weekends. The hill to the main touring pitches is a... Show more

More than an just an overnight stop

Altomira is a charming site. We stopped here for one night in February on our way home and I wish we could have stopped for longer. It’s only about a mile from the motorway and on the edge of the small town of Navajes, but you feel as... Show more

Lovely site - but steep

This is a lovely site; enjoyable pool, good views, close to Navajas (charming small Spanish town), friendly staff, adjacent to fantastic cycle path. But: chances are you will be placed on one of the higher terraces. The terraces are flat, but the access is very steep. It was a battle for... Show more

Great, peaceful location

We used this site as a stopover between Zaragoza and Bonterra Park January 2017. Friendly, helpful welcome. Yes it's a steep slope to the top terraces, there are kerbs but nowhere near as high as at Bonterra Park. Facilities are fine, and clean. The views are amazing ! The walk along the... Show more

Not Good

The previous reviews sum it up very well. We were to satay 4 nights but lasted only 1 and would have gone earlier had we not struggled to pitch our van (a mover is a must )! Steep, awkward, very poor facilities.... if there were other stopover options I suggest you seek... Show more

Steep

We stayed 2 nights early May.  The site is extremely steep.  The bottom half is full off cabins and long term caravans which you don't really notice as tourers are at the top of the hill.  The kerbs onto the plots are dangerous and whilst we were there a Dutch... Show more

Overnight stop

Unfortunately we arrived at this site on Easter Sunday so it was absolutely packed and very noisy. This site is not suitable for large twin axle caravans . The pitches are small and tightly packed together with no privacy. Fortunately we only spent one night there. We had a meal... Show more

Overnight stop

Stayed overnight for second time, once in 2015 and 2016. Travelled from St Jean de Luz a distance of 340 miles. The site is very steep with very difficult kerbs in front of some pitches making it very difficult for long caravans (tandem axles) and long motorhomes. Some pitches are... Show more

A must if you like to walk!

Stayed here for 2 nights and had intended it to be somewhere to park while we explored Valencia but it was so beautiful we stayed put. The site is right next to the Via Verde, which is an old railway track that stretches a long way in each direction. The... Show more
