Why stay here ...

Enjoy organised activities in warmer climes and in the company of other club members on stays of 14 nights up to 77 nights, all for a great value nightly price.
This is our smallest winter rally running from 18 January to 05 April 2025.

Our dedicated club hosts will make sure you know about a wide range of activities on offer and give tips on exploring the local area or simply let you relax in the sun. Many members with specific skills, interests or knowledge will volunteer to run activities for the group so this is a great opportunity to make new friends whilst learning something new or sharing something that you've always loved doing.

Our hosted holiday rally can be booked online under this site name, code E08W.

A little about the site

Vilanova Park is an exquisite large and attractive  campsite, built on a hillside midway between Barcelona and Tarragona with excellent public transport direct to Barcelona from the campsite. Due to the terraced landscape of the site it is necessary to use steps or slopes to access many of the fantastic facilities around the campsite.

The facilities are first-class and include a lovely pool complex with water jets and a wellness centre with a gym, sauna and Jacuzzi (charge applicable). Some activities organised by site in the indoor swimming pool and wellness center (Monday-Friday) from 9:00-9:45 are free of charge. Please ask at reception.

The outdoor pool area (not heated) is free of charge (weather dependent).

With a strong emphasis on social activities the campsite offers aqua gym, Zumba, salsa classes and bingo nights. Evenings can be spent dining in the beautifully restored Catalan restaurant and bar.

The site is well-placed for visiting Barcelona, which can be reached by excellent public transport links or car. Visitors here can explore Gaudí’s famous cathedral and Park Güell, as well as the various art galleries and the bustling street of Las Ramblas. Tarragona is also within driving distance and is an important historic town.

Tourist attractions and excursions:

Sitges (8kms), Vilafranca del Penedès - Epicenter of Cava production (sparkling wine) (20kms), Barcelona (40kms), Medieval town of Montblanc (55kms), Monserrat Monastery (70kms).

Winter sun 2025

Villanova Park was our first stop on our winter sun holiday, having never rallied before. The rally was small and friendly and the hosts Tracy and Colin worked really hard to ensure everyone had a great time. The restaurant and shop were both very good and the facilities block was... Show more

Winter Golf and New Friends

Our first Winter Rally and what a terrific choice. We stayed for the first 4 weeks of the Rally to play some golf away from the UK rain and mud and ended up also making many new friends. That we are already hoping to repeat next year says it... Show more

BRILLIANT WINTER RALLY AT VILANOVA PARK

First Winter Rally and what a superb time Tracy and I enjoyed. Stayed the full duration from Jan until April 25. The hosts Tracy and Colin were first class and a credit to the club. The organised rally itinerary was pitched just right for us. We enjoyed the water aerobics... Show more

Fabulous winter holiday

I echo what DadandLad says below. His review sums up how we felt about the holiday. Yes there are a lot of steps and yes there are some cats on site but neither of them impacted our holiday. We loved the site; the shower/toilet facilities were fabulous, the restaurant very... Show more

First time long stay winter rally - would definitely return

This was the first time I had taken part in a long stay winter rally and I would definitely repeat the experience - what's more, I would return to Vilanova Park. Much of what the other reviewers (to date) have said is true and I would agree with it. However,... Show more

Very disappointed with the site, seems it wasn’t checked out for suitability before taking bookings. No mention of the the stairs involved, in the description of the holiday. 3 flights of steps from rally area to toilet, shower block, disposal point and washing up facility. A further two to get to restaurant... Show more
