Chiringuito paradise
Lovely campsite, a short walk to a beach with lots of beach bars (chiringuitos) and a marina. The only downside was a confusing address .
Close to the popular holiday destination of Marbella, this friendly site is popular all year round. The reception staff are very helpful, and entertainment is organised throughout the year for those who wish to join in.
Pitches are on a mixture of level and sloping ground and most benefit from shade provided by pine trees. On-site facilities include two swimming pools, and a range of restaurants is available near the site to choose from. Children are catered for with tree-top adventures, a climbing wall and zip-line.
The beach and marina are a short walk away and many pleasant hours can be spent relaxing on the sand or enjoying a snack at one of the restaurants along the waterfront. There are regular bus services to Marbella, which has an attractive old town and the lively resort of Fuengirola.

After 3 quiet campsites this is disapointing. There is constant noise from the A7 traffic, although this quietens at night. The pitches for shorter term campers along the bottom of the site are in the shade, well about 80% of them, which would be great for summer, but I feel... Show more

This is a large site with many cabins, and looks like a lot of long term residents. The pitch we were allocated was a good size, but under pine trees, as most were in rows A, B, and C. At this time of year, more sun would have been welcome,... Show more

Good indoor swimming pool. Friendly staff and campers. Lidl 30min walk away. Very dog friendly... Show more

We have returned from 4 weeks at Cabopino and we are wondering why! The site is "rustic" and the toilet blocks could do with an upgrade but it all works and is kept very clean. Some of the pitches are a bit small and can be difficult to get into with... Show more
