Why stay here ...

Set at Tarifa on Andalucia’s southernmost tip, this friendly site is great for active families or – being open all year – those seeking some winter sun. A large pool is surrounded by a grassy sunbathing area, and there’s a friendly, cosy restaurant with an open fire for the cooler winter months. Freshly baked bread and pastries are available at the shop.

The striking Andalucian hills, studded with brilliant white villages and dramatic views, can be discovered by bike or on foot, and Tarifa is renowned for its excellent beaches with fine sand and lovely clean water. There’s also plenty of scope for driving to Gribaltar or the port and visiting Morocco for day trips.

Surfers Paradise

Excellent campsite, with access to a lovely beach via an underpass. This is a surfer's paradise with all kinds of surfing (wind, foil, para and wing) apparently as it always has good wind. We were also amazed to see the north coast of Africa almost in touching distance.

Beach side camp

Stayed at Valdevacqueros for four nights in May 2023. The pitches are all hedged but differing sizes and some impossible for a motorhome due to trees and low branches. The facilities are quite old but all worked well, plenty of hot water in the showers, although everything had... Show more

Wintersun

We stayed here for 10 nights and loved it. Beach just across the road, endless walks. Pitches shaded by trees. Staff very helpful, our fridge kept tripping out due to the voltage dropping under 200V on our pitch so moved us to a pitch nearer the front which sorted the... Show more

We very nearly didn't come to this site based on the one review shown here. So glad we did! We have loved it. We arrived without booking and we had a very friendly reception They gave us ASCI reductions when we produced our club membership card and there was no... Show more

Not for us, disappointed

Although we didn’t book through the CMHC as we are touring and couldn’t give 3 days notice, we picked this camp based on it being endorsed by the CMHC assuming there would be a good standard of facilities, however the receptionist shrugged her shoulders at our CMHC card, she didn’t... Show more
