Why stay here ...

Located alongside the estuary of the Segura River, this smart, resort-style site offers plenty for guests enjoying long stays in either summer or winter. It offers pleasant, hardstanding pitches, most of which benefit from shade provided by conifers, and room to manoeuvre larger units.

Facilities are first-class and include a tropical-style pool complex with slides and a Jacuzzi, a wellness centre, gym and beauty salon, and restaurants. There’s also an entertainment programme and play area to keep children occupied.

Those looking to enjoy some excursions will find plenty to do in the region. Alicante, Murcia and Cartagena are all within driving distance – Alicante has a lovely harbour-side promenade and medieval fortress; Cartagena has a rich history that pre-dates Roman times; and Murcia is a buzzing university town with an excellent variety of boutiques and a fascinating 19th century casino.

Excellent Christmas 2018

We traveled from Scotland to spend Christmas and New Year in warmer climes. This was our most southerly stop and was the one which spanned the Christmas period so it was doubly important to us that we had picked a good site and this one didn’t disappoint. Only negative is... Show more

Good out of season site - not easy to walk to town.

Why: The area looked interesting and the site seemed to have good facilities and good reviews. Location: On the Northern outskirts of the town of Guardamar del Segura. The town is not too commercialised. There are one or two shops selling tourist souvenirs and a big weekly market but is basically... Show more

Definitely not a 5*

We stayed at this site for 3 weeks in May 2017 and on arrival were impressed however after one weeks stay we were then inundated with mosquitos making it impossible to sit outside. Several other campers including ourselves complained many times to reception and each time were promised something would... Show more

Nice site spoiled by location

Stayed 2 weeks in October. Site was almost full with Brits and other northern Europeans set up for a long winter stay. It was amazing to see fully covered pitches complete with awnings, gazebos, kitchen tents and all the comforts of home such as domestic size fridge/freezers, washing machines, tumble dryers... Lovely site

We stayed 6 nights end of April.  Quiet during week but whilst we were there the Spanish arrived at the weekend to set up their summer residences - a remarkable feat of ingenuity and invention as everything went into their awnings including plumbed in kitchen sinks and although hanging washing...
