Why stay here ...

Camping Koningshof is a mid-sized family-owned site set in Rijnsburg, famed for its beautiful flowers. The pitches are arranged in small fields, separated by hedges. At some pitches you can park your car directly next to your outfit, at other pitches you can park the car on the general parking facilities nearby the pitch. The personal and friendly touch this site has, will make your holiday unforgettable.

Regardless of which type of holiday you like, Vakantiepark Koningshof provides you with all your wishes. From an indoor to outdoor swimming pool and supermarket to restaurant and bar, you are fully equipped. While you unwind and enjoy a wonderful holiday, the children will be entertained by an enthusiastic animation team. In the Dutch school holidays there is a fun animation programme during the day. There also is a small skate area, playground (both outdoor as indoor), outdoor fitness and a sports field. The real fishing enthusiast can also indulge themselves at the fishing pond.

Meadows, bulb fields and greenhouses line the roads around Rijnsburg, providing colourful views, while the centre of the town is traditionally Dutch, with a small canal, a museum and an original windmill. The beautiful nature of Rijnsburg and its surroundings makes the region a great holiday destination. In the spring you can enjoy the beautiful bulb fields and Keukenhof gardens while in the summer you can visit the dunes and the beaches of places such as Katwijk, Noordwijk, Scheveningen and Zandvoort. In autumn, the area around Koningshof offers many beautiful walks through the woods and dunes. On days when you are looking for a bit more excitement with year-round appeal, you can visit one of the surrounding cities. Koningshof is located a short distance from beautiful historic cities such as Leiden (Rembrandt’s birthplace), Haarlem, The Hague, Rotterdam and Amsterdam.

Holiday camp vibe

This is our 4th or 5th visit. Originally it was a fairly quiet site however since the latest redevelopments it has become overrun with families & kids & is very noisy all day till later at night. The restaurant is poor value & the food quality is poor. Although we... Show more

More of a holiday camp than touring site. Also items on one's pitch can disappear unexpectantly.

We stayed for 2 nights. The facilities were clean but more limited in facilities (eg. one soap dispenser in the washrooms) compared to our previous 4 sites, which were each much more suited to caravan and motorhome travellers. Our impression was that the site clearly caters more for the groups... Show more

Excellent site

What a superb site! Ideally situated for cycling and walking, and it's an easy cycle ride/drive to the bulb fields. Lovely villages nearby and lots of windmills! The site itself is excellent - scrupulously clean facilities and hot showers. Swimming pools, and both indoor and outdoor play areas for children.... Show more

Lovely Family Run site Shame about the planes!

Stayed here for a week on the Club's Dutch Bulb Fields and More Tour from April 19th which is a great tour! The site is an excellent one run by the third generation of the same family. The "new" reception area, shop and restaurant was rebuilt three years... Show more

Not the best if you have a motor home

Lovely site and staff. My only down side to our holiday is the site is difficult to get about if you don't have your car with you as beach was half hour bicycle ride through a busy industrial estate and if we were to catch the bus to Leiden it... Show more
