Camping Village Roma Capitol
We stayed on this site in order to visit Rome. Site provided a return shuttle to the train station at a cost of 8 Euro which was well worth it and train tickets can be purchased at reception. Travel into Rome (Vatican) took 1 hour on the train/metro system. The site is large and you are not allowed to use your car to travel around it to get to the shop or restaurant. The location of the pitch we booked was at the furthest point away from the shop/restaurant, a 10 minute walk. The facilities were clean with individual toilet/shower/sink all in the cubicle. Unfortunately the shower water was hot and difficult to adjust. The pool adjacent to the pitches was lovely but you had to pay extra if you wanted a sunbed/sunbrolly. The chemical toilet disposal and water waste was a short distance away in the next available toilet block. Travelled as a couple, so cannot comment on how good it is for a family. The washing machine was 6 Euro.
