Why stay here ...

A superbly run site with its own small lake, Lech is owned by Gabi Ryssel and her family who go above and beyond to meet the needs of guests. The site itself is modern and pristinely kept, with grass and gravel pitches shaded by tall pines and spotless facilities. Guests can take advantage of the free surfboards and boats and enjoy the private swimming lake and there is a restaurant within walking distance in the nearby viillage.

There’s plenty to do in the local area, with the ancient city of Augsburg – the largest on the Romantic Road – located just 5km away. Children will enjoy a visit to Legoland, while the art galleries and museums of Munich can be reached in just 30min to an hour.

Fifth stop on way to Austria

Stopped here for 4 nights after leaving Kleinenzhof. Great location to do Romantic Road. Access via manually operated barrier. Cars had to park in car park a short walk away: owners had replaced a lot of roadway gravel due to recent rain/floods so not sure if this was a temporary... Show more

Expensive site

Easy access to site is one of the main reasons we returned for a one night stopover on way to Austria. Facilities are spotless and with the bus just by the entrance ideal for motorhomers wanting to visit Augsburg. My only gripe is that despite this being a very... Show more

Good Stopover

Stayed here for two nights on way to Austria, very clean - can't fault that. Very quiet - had a pitch next to lake, although it is a pond really - full of frogs which were very noisy at night! Lots of people in the water on paddleboards and swimming... Show more

First Visit

We booked 4 nights on a lakeside pitch which was fully serviced and we were so surprised to see the size of the pitch. We actually booked this site independently as we liked the idea of being lakeside. Being by the lake meant that there was a lovely breeze... Show more

Gem of a site in Southern Germany

We visited this site from 29th June 2019 to 3rd July 2019, en route to Austria. We received a really warm welcome on arrival and were provided with an excellent pitch overlooking the lake. Throughout the time we were here the staff and management were so friendly and helpful. The pitches are... Show more

Can't fault this site

A warm welcome with information about absolutely everything and everywhere in the area. When we collected our delicious rolls in the morning we were addressed by name. We had a lovely lakeside pitch and were sorry to leave after a brilliant week exploring the romantic road, Augsburg, the Bavarian Alps... Show more

Absolutely top rated in every way, to be highly recommended.

After a long drive we received a good welcome by the family owners and showed to our lakeside pitch. The temperature was high, the outdoor restaurant overlooking the lake served cold beer, homemade pizza with good fresh salad and apple cake for afters - perfect. The very best showers, toilets,...
