Why stay here ...
Ideally situated on the northern banks of a lake close to the centre of Ingolstadt, this site can be used as a stopover en route to Italy and Croatia. It’s a spacious site with open unmarked pitches and direct access to the lovely lakeside. The lake is small enough to walk round and dogs, which are welcome onsite, will like the open spaces in which they can walk and play.
Adjacent to the site there is a traditional Bavarian restaurant with a large beer garden and some lovely speciality beers along with a mini golf park for all the family.
As the setting for Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, Ingolstadt is an intriguing city. A Frankenstein tour is on offer for the literary-minded, while those interested in history will enjoy a stroll around the old town. North of the city centre is the Audi factory, which visitors can tour, and Munich is an hour’s drive from the site.
